Chopper Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast

A helicopter soaring near a well-attended coastal coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, finally losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers observed.

Footage shared online capture the aircraft beginning to twirl near the beach then falling towards the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway.

Rescue Operation Information

Local firefighters said five persons were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on the weekend.

Three persons on the road were harmed. Details on their injuries were not immediately available.

The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
